Artist Bio
He is a flute maker and player, woodcarver, father, grandfather and loving husband. Born in Aurora, Illinois to parents from Tennessee, he has lived in Oklahoma since the age of eight. He grew up being told by his grandmothers that his ancestors were of the Choctaw tribe.
Twenty-four years ago he purchased a flute and tape and began to play. Before long he had made several flutes that he gifted to family and friends. The flute changed his life. Quitting his job as an over-the-road truck driver to start a business of his own was a great leap of faith that has provided a living for over 22 years that will take him into retirement some day. He gets great satisfaction every time he puts one of his handmade flutes into the hands of a new player.
Having played flute as a solo instrument for over 20 years on 7 albums, on the two newest albums he is accompanied by other great musicians playing guitar, drums, rattles, harp, and keyboards.
He performs at several shows and festivals including sixteen performances during Cheyenne Frontier Days, Cheyenne, Wyoming. His flutes, music and wood carvings, etc. are available at Frazierflutes.com and many art galleries around the globe.
