About the Artist

My husband, Jack and I have lived in Kingfisher for about 30 years.  We have two grown children and four grandchildren.  I worked in the public school for 23 years before retiring.  I started painting about 25 years ago and taught children to draw and paint in afterschool classes.  Also taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade art in school for many years.  After retiring, I have been teaching one adult class and children's classes once a week.  I taught myself to draw and through the help of classes and workshops have tried to improve my painting.  I enjoy painting portraits mostly, but do all types of painting. I love painting with oils.
