Statement:
I live in OKC with my husband Jim and two very spoiled dogs. Art has been my passion since childhood. I have no formal art education, but can't really consider myself being self-taught either since I've studied with many well-known artists. I guess you could call it "selective education". I love to create work that has a little bit of “attitude” to it-difficult sometimes for a traditional artist, but I enjoy the challenge.

I show my work at various galleries in the central Oklahoma City area and am a member of most of Oklahoma’s art guilds. My work has been shown in various local and national shows.

Bio:
Linda was born in Oklahoma and has lived there all her life. What really excited her is animals, nature and the great outdoors. Her art is in many private collections throughout the United States and Canada. She has received awards for her art and has been juried in to National shows. Her favorite medium to work in is oil. However, she does enjoy experimenting in unique and different media, styles and techniques. She has taught classes at a local junior college and currently participates in many artist organizations in the surrounding area.

When asked about her art she most often replies: "I paint for myself and what excites me. My art is very eclectic, but then, so am I"
